The controlled air ventilation of the rooms in our North Sea hotel Friesenhus creates the feeling of “falling asleep under the open sky”. Fresh North Sea air flows through our rooms completely automatically around the clock. Good for people suffering from allergies is that most of all dust and hayfever inducing particles are being filtered out.
In the colder seasons, the fresh air gets heated first and stream into the house through an ingenious net of air channels throughout the walls and the floor. This prevents the coldness from outside to get through the outer walls. The floor receives a nice warmth thanks to the rotation of the air inside the ground. Just like in ancient Roman times, our customers get to experience this benevolent heat in connection with the fresh North Sea air.
